My feet still hurt!

So last night I had to attend a "work function." We were not allowed to call it a party or act like it was a party. Several of my coworkers and I were guests at a client's annual winter bash. I don't know why they call it a bash. There was live entertainment- if you call 2 girls, a piano and a mic live entertainment. Otherwise it was stuffy, boring people in a hotel ballroom who came for free food, drinks and a droning speaker. The future of Virginia Beach, blah, blah, blah. Where do we go from here, blah, blah, blah. The highlight was listening to the extremely tired mayor make off-color jokes while she presented some award. Oh- and the beef tenderloin and molton chocolate cake. Mmmmmmmm......
